OVERVIEW
SeniorsPlus is the designated Area Agency on Aging for Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties. We are your trusted nonprofit resource.
Our primary service is answering your questions (simple to complex), connecting you to the right resources, and assisting in the process if needed. If you are an older adult, an adult with disabilities, or a family member or friend, this is your first call to make when you need answers.
Our Community Service Specialists will listen, help assess your individual situation, and work with you and your family to connect with community resources and services to meet your needs.

No, SeniorsPlus is a 501c3 nonprofit. We offer unbiased, discreet, professional help. We are not selling a product or a brand.
SeniorsPlus can complete a screening to see if you are eligible for public benefits that can help supplement your income, including MaineCare, prescription benefits, heating assistance, and food assistance.
Yes. We will review your income level to determine your eligibility. If you qualify, we’ll help you fill out the necessary applications, including programs that help pay for some Medicare costs. Call us to make an appointment at our offices or, for those that are homebound, in your home. We also offer introductory Medicare classes regularly if you would like to attend a class.
Our comprehensive database can provide you with referrals and information that will connect you with most any type of service.
Our Money Minders program connects skilled volunteers enlisted by SeniorsPlus to work with individual clients like you. They can help you with bill paying and balancing a checkbook.
Yes. SeniorsPlus has an adaptive equipment loan program so that you can borrow items such as wheelchairs or walkers at no cost. Call us to make a request and we’ll let you know what we have available.
