Q: When do I need to submit my timesheets in order to make sure my employees are paid?

A: Timesheets must be submitted by noon on the due date. Not sure when the due date is? Click here.

Q: What do I need to do to hire a new employee?

A: You will need to fill out an Employee packet and return it to us. You can find the Employee Packet here.

Q: How long does it take before my new employee can start working?

A: We will initiate the Criminal Background Check within a day of receiving the request, it is then sent to the State of Maine for processing with an average turnaround of 1-5 days. Additionally before your employee can start we need to have all of the Employee forms returned to us and complete. So make sure you have filled out all the forms! 

Q: My payroll is currently being processed by another FI. Is it possible for me to change to SPLLC?

A: Absolutely! Contact your Skills Trainer and let them know you are interested in switching FI's and they will notify us.

Q: How do my employees sign up for or change their Direct Deposit? 

A: Fill out the Direct Deposit form located here. Don't forget to include a voided check or an account confirmation letter from your bank! 

Q: When/how do my employees receive pay stubs?

A: Employees should register for online access to their pay stubs.  Click here for instructions.
