Overview
SeniorsPlus is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation governed by a Board of Directors and Advisory Council. Our professional and dedicated staff offers a network of support, information, services and resources for seniors and adults with special needs and their families.
Our Services for Senior Independent Living fall under two major categories:
- As the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Androscoggin County, Franklin County and Oxford County we have been working to secure and maintain senior independent living since 1972 when we were designated the AAA under the Older Americans Act. (Click here to find out more about the Older Americans Act.) We are headquartered in Lewiston and have multiple locations throughout Androscoggin County, Franklin County and Oxford County.
- Elder Independence of Maine (EIM) coordinates in home care services for adults 18 and older throughout the state of Maine. EIM has offices in Auburn and Bangor. (Click here to go the EIM website.)
