We all can use a little help from time to time. SeniorsPlus has several programs that can give you a hand to make living at home easier, safer and more enjoyable.
Helping Hands

When you find that you just can't make it to the supermarket, call for our grocery delivery service. We can do the shopping for you or we can escort you to the store. Our volunteer staff will take your order over the phone. You tell us which brands, sizes and types of food you want and we fill your order. We buy what you ask for.
The volunteers will pick up the groceries and deliver them right to your door. When we get there, you pay for your groceries. There is a modest fee for this service which we bill monthly.
We can also escort you to the grocery store, help load your cart in the store and carry the bags to and from the car. |

When you need to get to a medical appointment or other errand, you can call our volunteer staff for a ride.
For a small fee, we can provide a ride for you with a volunteer driver. Our volunteer drivers are insured and are trained in defensive driving. Or if you prefer, we can arrange a ride for you with a local transportation company.
Please call us at least two days in advance so that we can make adequate arrangements. |
